The Odessa Roerich House Museum contains reproductions of many of Nicholas Roerich's paintings as well as his original letters, rare books and photos. There is also a Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Museum. The museum includes a room dedicated to the works of Nicholas Roerich's disciple Boris Smirnov-Rusetsky.
A museum tour takes about two hours. However, you can spend in the Museum as much time as you want.
Admission to the Museum is free; most of our exhibitions, lectures and programs are also free. Donations are welcome. Ask for further details at Front Desk when you arrive.
Yes. We offer guided tours in Ukrainian and Russian, as well as audio tours in English.
All groups must make advance booking for visits. Please make your booking at least 2-3 days before your visit.
The museum has an unattended cloakroom. Visitors are obliged to leave jackets, handbags, rucksacks, and umbrellas in the cloakroom. We provide small plastic bags for your valuables which you can take with you. Unfortunately our cloakroom is unable to accommodate large rucksacks and bags, suitcases and other luggage. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Yes. Photo and filming are allowed only for personal, noncommercial use. Tripods, selfie-sticks and flashes are not permitted. Аsk for further details at the Front Desk. All commercial photography or filming must be approved by the Museum in writing. If you are a journalist or blogger interested in filming or taking photographs at the museum please contact us and request a press visit.
The library is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 18:00. No prior appointment needed.
