On February 5, 2019, the Energy of Courage Museum in Hadera, Israel, hosted a significant event — the opening of a permanent exhibition dedicated to the Roerich Pact, an event dedicated to the 145th anniversary of Nicholas Roerich.
The exposition is located in a showcase and presented by the exhibits from the Odessa Roerich House Museum: the Banner of the Peace and Culture, and some reproductions of pictures of Nikolas Roerich. The evening was opened by the director and founder of the Museum of Energy of Courage — David Zelvensky, Soviet and Israeli military historian and publicist. In 2020, the Museum of Energy of Courage will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Tatiana Kravets, Deputy Director of the Museum, made a wonderful report on Nicholas Roerich’s creative path. Her report quoted Roerich’s poems from the book «The Leaves of Morya’s garden». The beautiful report was interspersed with singing. Iryna Korolyova performed Martha’s song from Modest Mussorgsky’s opera Khovanshchyna and others.
Elena Petrenko — Director of the Odessa Roerich House Museum, presented the history of the Roerich Pact and its global significance, as well as the story of the Odessa Roerich House Museum, which in 2020 will celebrate its 20th anniversary. Tetyana Slonimska, editor-in-chief of the League of Culture magazine, presented a magazine based on the unifying idea of Nicholas Roerich, first realized in the creation of the World League of Culture in 1931.
The evening was attended by members of the Israeli group of the Odessa Roerich House Museum, as well as members of the Club of Photo enthusiasts «Good Neighborliness» — Mikhail Karalnik, the initiator of the Club, and Joseph Erpert, whose exhibition of photographs, as well as Clara Neykova’s were exhibited in Odessa Roerich House Museum in April 2018. The exhibition was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the independence of the State of Israel. The Odessa Roerich House Museum will supplement the exposition dedicated to the Roerich Pact, as well as hold joint evenings with the Energy of Courage Museum and thus carry out the collaboration in cooperation and commonwealth as it was commanded by Nicholas Roerich.
