On May 10, 2020, at the Odessa Roerich House Museum, a lecture video-conference dedicated to Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831–1891) will be held. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky our great compatriot, philosopher, writer, enlightener, founder of Theosophical Society. In the testament of H. P. Blavatsky dated January 31, 1885, she asked her friends to gather annually on the day of her death and read excerpts from the «Light of Asia» by Sir Edwin Arnold, and from the Bhagavad Gita. This day is now celebrated by Theosophists around the world as a White Lotus Day. The name White Lotus Day belongs to Colonel H. S. Olcott since on the first anniversary of the death of Helena Blavatsky lotuses blossomed in Adyar unusually magnificent.
