Odessa Roerich House Museum Presents an International Exhibition Celebrating the Artistic Brilliance of Ukrainian and Israeli Artists

24 june 2023, 14.00, The Odessa Roerich House Museum, in collaboration with the esteemed National Union of Artists of Ukraine and the Association of Professional Artists of Israel, is set to captivate art enthusiasts with an extraordinary program titled «Kosovo Ceramics – World Heritage of Ukraine. The Carpathian Mountains in the Works of Ukrainian and Israeli Artists». This event will showcase the artistic prowess and cultural bond between Ukraine and Israel.

The event will commence with a musical greeting by the amateur choir «Spivzvuchcha» of Odessa Roerich House Museum. Conductor – Darya Husak. Сoncertmaster – Zhanna Borovska.

An integral highlight of the program is the opening of the international exhibition entitled «The Carpathians in the Works of Ukrainian and Israeli Artists». This highly anticipated exhibition will feature a remarkable collection of artwork by renowned artists from both Ukraine and Israel. Among the notable participants are Adrian Judro and Anna Zarnytska from Israel, and Oksana Kornienko, Halyna Kravchenko, Anatoly Kravchenko, Halyna Liekareva-NykitynaSvetlana Kryzhevska, Nadia Martynenko, Roman Naidyon, and Viktor Poteryaiko from Ukraine. They will present their artistic interpretations of the awe-inspiring Carpathian Mountains, showcasing the unique perspectives and creative talents of both nations.

The exhibition will be open for visitors to enjoy the masterpieces until August 4, 2023, providing a truly immersive experience.

In addition to the exhibition, the event will shed light on the significance of Kosovo ceramics, a distinctive art form deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Ukraine. Tetyana Beletska, a dedicated employee of the Odessa Roerich House Museum, will provide valuable insights into the historical and artistic importance of Kosovo ceramics, further enhancing visitors' appreciation of this cherished tradition.

Under the expert guidance of director Kristina Malinina, the Folk Dance Ensemble «Barvinok» will bring the spirit and energy of the Carpathian Mountains to life through their mesmerizing choreography, captivating the audience with their enchanting performance titled «Carpathian Patterns».
