Constance Wachtmeister «Reminiscences of H. P. Blavatsky and "The Secret Doctrine"»

The publication is dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. For the first time, the book «Reminiscences of H. P. Blavatsky and „The Secret Doctrine,“» by Countess Constance Wachtmeister, London, 1893, was translated into Russian. The translation was made by co-workers of the Odessa Roerich House Museum: Konstantin Gilevich and Ekaterina Lyakhova. Countess Constance Wachtmaster nee Constance Georgina Louise Bourbel de Monpincon, widow of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, joined the Theosophical Society in 1881 and became a close assistant and witness to the life of H. P. Blavatsky. In her memoirs, she talks about the life of the founder of the Theosophical Society, H. P. Blavatsky, and the history of the creation of the philosophical work «The Secret Doctrine.»
