The published letters of the outstanding Russian artist N. K. Roerich (1874–1947) to his wife H. I. Roerich (1879–1955) were written in July-August 1908 and June-July 1911 while he was on vacation at resort Bad Neuenahr, Germany. The publication is illustrated with rare color and black and white postcards with views of the resort of Bad Neuenahr, printed in 1900-1920 in Germany. The letters are published for the first time and based on the originals stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery. The introductory article “Inexhaustible source of creativity of N. K. Roerich” is written by Elena Grigoyevna Petrenko, director of the Odessa Roerich House Museum.
