The Roerich Pact and the Banner of Peace

The brochure “The Roerich Pact and the Banner of Peace” is published in Russian for the first time, and its publication is timed with the 70th anniversary of the Roerich Pact (April 15, 1935). It was first published by the New York Committee of the Roerich Pact and the Banner of Peace (USA) in English in 1947. The publication covers the history of the Roerich Pact and its relevance, clarifies the underlying meaning of the Banner of Peace as a symbol of universal humanity, common to people of all races and faiths. The translation was done by employees of the Odessa Roerich House Museum. Abstract, introduction, and design of the book by E. G. Petrenko. Limited edition — 100 copies.
