V. G. Kirkevich. Boris Roerich. The Story of a Younger Brother

The book of Viktor Kirkevich, a Kyiv — based writer, journalist, collector, local history researcher, tells the story of the life of Boris Konstantinovich Roerich, the younger brother of Nicholas Roerich. The author relies on materials that have been published in the last decade, as well as archival materials from his collection, covering the Kyiv period of B. K. Roerich’s life. A significant place in the book is given to the ties of the Roerich family with Ukraine: Konstantin Fedorivich Roerich (father of Nicholas Roerich) and brothers — Nicholas Roerich and Boris Roerich. The little-known period of Boris Roerich’s life in Kyiv is highlighted. The book is illustrated with photographs, drawings, portraits made by Boris Roerich, as well as other archival materials from the collection of V. G. Kirkevich.
