Igor Chopp “Call of the Altai”

In the series “Commonwealth,” the book “Call of the Altai” by Igor Leonidovich Chopp was published. The author of the book is an engineer, teacher, and journalist, a member of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Born in Altai in 1921, he has lived in Odessa since 1924. A disabled veteran of WWW II, he has four government awards. A Master of sports and instructor of amateur sports tourism, Igor Chopp had published about seven hundred articles, essays, and stories in magazines and newspapers of the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Bulgaria. He is an author of 20 books: “On Tourist Trails,” “Friendship Trail,” “Tourist Trails of Odessa Region,” “When the Mountains Call,” “Leading to the Peaks,” “At Midnight Sun,” “War. Soldiers’ Memories”, “Echoes of the Silenced Voices,” “Facts and legends of the old Otrada,” and others.
