Boris Smirnov-Rusetsky "Diaries. Letters"
The eleventh issue of the series «Archives. Research,» features the book «Diaries. Letters» by Russian visual artist, cosmist Boris Alekseevich Smirnov-Rusetsky (1905 — 1993). The book includes the second, supplemented edition of the «Diaries» by B. A. Smirnov-Rusetskiy — Rusetskiy. The letters of Boris Alekseevich Smirnov-Rusetsky to N. D. Spirina from the collection of the N. K. Roerich Museum in Novosibirsk cover the period from 1966 to 1989 and published for the first time. The book also features letters addressed by the artist to L. P. Pavlov, who lives in Kiev. Letters to L. P. Pavlov are kept in the manuscript department of the Odessa Roerich House Museum and cover the period from 1980 to 1991. The diary entries of Boris Alekseevich Smirnov-Rusetskiy cover the artist’s life from 1979 to 1993.
In the appendix: Мemories of B. A. Smirnov-Rusetskiy by V. Nichiporuk and L. Pavlov, are published in the author’s edition.
